FACILITATED LEARNING CIRCLE

... is it for You?

Have you ever attended a Workshop or Conference and wished that the conversation could continue longer? Or, maybe you have been involved in a discussion at an event and wished that you could meet again with the same folks and continue where you left off ... sharing ideas?

Maybe a Facilitated Leaning Circle is the place for you! The United Church of Canada has initiated the Facilitated Learning Circle Program giving folks from all areas of church life* the opportunity to gather and learn together with a facilitator guiding discussion, planning the logistics of meetings and keeping everyone informed and updated.

Participants covenant to attend regular monthly gatherings of the Circle over the period of ten to twelve months, with the intention of setting learning goals and then following through with reading, research and idea sharing on topics chosen by the participants themselves.

* Folks in Paid Accountable Ministry can use the Facilitated Learning Circle as a Continuing Education module.
